+Values are coerced as follows:

+
+- When the variable is set to the anything else, return `False`.
+ Example falsy values:
+
+ - 0
+ - no
+
+- Ignore case and leading/trailing whitespace.
+
+Provides MyPy-compatible type annotations.
+
